    Some Accolades . . .

    Every now and again we are pleasantly surprised to receive a completely unexpected accolade
    such as the one from Country Walking Magazine in 2002, whose readers voted us their "favourite B+B".

    The most recent was from the Guardian Newspaper in May 2008 who included us in their online
    B+B directory,  scroll down - we're at position 13 on the list.

    The nicest thing about these newspaper and magazine articles is that we did not seek to be included and made
    no payment or approach to either journal - it all came completely out of the blue.

    Then there are the recent reviews from some of our guests on Tripadvisor which are very welcome.

    Visit Britain's (formerly English Tourist Board) Silver Award speaks for itself as does our visitors' book
