Less strenuous attractions include the historic houses of Eyam Hall, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall

We often go to the enchanting otter and owl sanctuary at the Chestnut Centre , and also to the Heights of Abraham in Matlock Bath where the cable car ride is just one of the highlights of this scenic attraction.

Nostalgic motorcyclists will love the classic bike museum
M&C Collection at Bakewell which has its market day on Mondays.  Also in this area is the Red House Carriage Museum and not far away is the well known Tramway Museum at Crich where the TV series Peak Practice was filmed.

Opera lovers will enjoy an evening`s entertainment at the beautifully restored Buxton Opera House which stages a wide selection of popular operas as well as many other musical and dramatic productions.
