About
Us . . . We have lived in Pioneer House since 1993 when we made the decision to move here from Hertfordshire. We had spent many happy holidays and weekends walking and sightseeing all around Britain and because we loved this area so much we decided to make our home in the Peak District National Park. Pioneer House was originally built as a local shop and house over a hundred years ago. The property had become very run down so we have had a lot of renovation work to do. This allowed us to modernise the structure and facilities, and to decorate in a style which reflects the period in which the house was built. All our rooms are decorated using Laura Ashley, William Morris nd Sanderson materials. |

| There is also a comfortable lounge with books and games available for the use of our guests We are very lucky to have a really daft old dog Max, and a gorgeous cat Lucy, so regretfully we cannot take in pets. However Moscar Edge boarding kennels and cattery is a convenient 15 minutes away,Tel: 0114 230 1969 "We had lovely time and particularly liked your cat and dog."
